The Network Thinktank IP to Country data set is available for 2007 05 15. This file is updated on the first of every month at 1pm EST. Please do not download it more than once a month. The update frequency may be increased in the future. Download here: 20070515_networkthinktank_iptocountry.bz2 This data set attempts to map IP addresses to countries, ignoring prefixes or CIDR notation. It consists of three fields, startip, size, and country code. The startip is the first IP in the range and the size is the total number of IPs in the range including the startip. Ex: 192.168.0.1|5|US First IP is 192.168.0.1 and the last IP is the size minus one added to the startip, 192.168.0.5 The country code indicates the range belongs to the US. Where the IP range is reserved or BOGON, it is noted in the CC field |
